corporalgator says on Oct 10, 2008, 10:49: People are going to be really surprised at some of the states Obama will win. He won every coastal state in the South during the primaries by around 10% more than the polls showed beforehand.

Lcacique says on Oct 10, 2008, 14:56: I supported Obama when it was not the thing to do. Strike one! And I was one of the people that got the feeling after his speech that he would likely become a candidate in the near future. I support Obama because he is right, or at least closer to right, on almost every issue. I support a tax break for the middle class. But I am skeptical about some of his economic policies (as I would be of any candidate). I agree that Health Care is a right, not a responsibility (whatever that means). I support funding alternative energy. I like the fact that he recognizes who the enemy is in the Middle East and knows the name of the actual leader in Iran, unlike McCain. I like the fact that he, like General Petraeus, recognizes that surge tactic cannot simply be exported to Afghanistan. I like Obama's record for funding troops and assisting Veterans...on a scorecard of such issues compiled by their voting records, McCain received a D and Obama got a B. I applaud his stance for talking to leaders, even if we disagree with them. I admire his temperament. I respect his intelligence about issues and I cannot come close to saying the same about McCain (especially since McCain rarely talks about the issues). I like the way he has tried to avoid slinging mud, coming forward immediately and asking people to respect the privacy of Palin's daughter. And on and on and on. Hoy se nota en la floresta un ambiente de alegría. ¡Y el rumor de ranchería es mas dulce y sabe a fiesta! 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
