Cayita's ...ideologies run contrary to mine. I feel a little anti-Gringo in the way Cayita describes things. So let's listen to this wise person who claims to be trying to impart a little wisdom upon us and freely give into Criminals in Colombia because it would be safer to do this. Let's also give into Criminals because it's a lose-lose sitution considering the Police won't do their job if this Criminal gets caught. Let's consider giving into a Criminal because it would be in our interest to do so because Cayita says that Colombian Criminals are so unique that they are deserving of a differant title than no other Criminal has. Let's also consider that Colombian Criminals are so differant along with the Police that they don't exist anywhere else in the world. Let's consider that Cayita is trying to school us in these aspects of life concerning Bad versus Evil because Cayita is trying to save our lives by telling us to give into these unique type of Criminals. Yea Right!!! I don't think so. Either Cayita underestimates some of the Gringos here on this board, empathizes with Criminals, doesn't care for Gringos, Victimizes Gringos, or is plain ignorant about justice and when and how it should be served. Maybe Cayita is an Anarchist who beleives that Criminals should run rampant and freely without any recourse? Yea... Aguila Light Mountain top. It's near the Aguila mountain range with a volcano that spews Colombian Beer throughout the night. A great place to visit especially when you are with a Colombiana.

No Stranger to Gunfire here. Chicago has had the highest homicide rate in the United satetes for a few years now. Forget the population and the rate per capita. Overall, Chicago has had the most homicides and gunshot victims annually surpasing the cities of New York and L.A. The gang structure in Chicago is much more organized and violent than any other major metropolitan city in the U.S. Gunfire/Gunshots/Gun related Homicides are a daily thing in ceain neighborhoods. Hell, every New Years sounds like Bagdhad during shock and awe. The days of Al Capone and drive-by shootings are alive and well in Chicago. The only thing that's chancged is the players and the product the players are killing each other over. I wonder if the regular Colombian citizen realizes how much violence revolves around the export of Cocaine into the cities in our Country.

I know about the Carry-On rules pertaining to liquids... However, there are some exceptions made when buying from a duty free. I related "Duty-Free", not your own packed wine bottles etc... Even Duty-Free items are SOMETIMES prohibited however, not always as long as they are sealed and you could present purchase documentation. If there is a question or concern pertaining to this bought item, you could then bring it to the attention of security personnel before boarding and purchasing. Face it, the Liquid Carry-On ban is very recent and really; FelizaFortunado, what planet are you from when you think that our airport security personnel carefully screen everything. There are violations and items that unfortunately pass blindly through their very eyes. Items that should be resticted and prohibited pass through everydamn day. In most cases, you are permitted to bring Duty Free liquor purchases on your carry on provided that you made the purchase after clearing security.

Yea right. Nothing better than packing a few red wines in your suitcase so that they could break and stain all your clothing. If you are going to bring wine, I suggest to bring it on your carry on luggage from duty free. That way you'll be safe all the way around.
