Colombian college vs. American college

Does anyone know how the colleges/ universities in the U.S. work with the college education/ degrees in Colombia. I am in the process of getting my fiance over here. He already has a degree and is currently studying for another degree. He wants to continue to go to school once he is here. Does anyone know what a university or college here would accept as far as credits, etc. Or would they make him start from the beginning as if he was just out of high school?? Thanks! :) ...

PHONE BILL EVIDENCE

I sent in all of my cell phone bills starting back in July '05 to prove that my fiance and I speak (often in the beginning and now three or four times a day). However, I dont call him directly, I use those international calling cards. I mean I spend a good $100 and more every month just for those cards and my cell phone bill only reflects the local numbers that are used to dial out of the country. Translations.....

All of the documents that my fiance brings with him to the interview need to be translated correct? This means birth certificates, police certificates.... EVERYTHING????? So it wouldn't be a bad idea to just start getting that stuff done little by little????

Authorization to work at POE in Miami?

Does anyone know if the POE here in Miami gives out Authorizations to work right away (Is it called an EAD???)????? I think I read in another topic that he only POE that does this is JFK.... does anyone know? ...

This may be a silly question but...... I have been a member for 16 weeks +/- and have been browsing for some time now....... I am now beginning the process (hopefully and easy one) of I-129F.....
