morphus says on Aug 14, 2007, 14:56: Clubs? Clubs are bullshit. Its better to go with a date or with a group of people. Usually the music is too loud for much conversation. If you are looking to meet women, they will probably be there with their boyfriends. There are American style clubs in Poblado. Its easier to mingle with people than in the typical Colombian clubs. Colombians usually sit at a table with a bunch of people and get a bottle of rum. Threre will be loud music and a dance floor. Other areas are La 70 and Envigado. The music is very loud. Theres also plenty of stripclubs in Centro. A lot of guys go in just to have a beer and chat with the girls.

The first time I went to Medellin I had about 50 phone numbers from internet chicas. The first night in town I was driving in a taxi. The taxi driver stopped to ask for directions from a group of people. I saw a hot chica and called her over to the taxi. I typed her phone number into my cell phone and we went out the next night. Its easy to meet girls in Medellin but be advised that the normal girls are'nt always going to give you any play the first night. You might end gacking off in the hotel or going out to look for prepaid ho's. Most Colombianas that go for tourists are looking for a serious rewarding relationship. Foreigners are expected to marry Colombianas very quick. He plays the role of "night in shining armor". A role that is difficult to play in his own country unless he is a millionaire.
