been away for a long time Ok, it's been 24 years since I was in Colombia but my family uses the following phrases regularly:

Estoy mamada! (especially those with children under the age of 5)
[El que] No llora, no mama.

Neither of which I wouldn't dare say in my Puerto Rican novio's mother's house.

and the word I learned for condoms was llantas, not gomas like most of the latinos I know in the states.
