I finally cooked some Colombian food!

I'm actually quite proud of myself, on Christmas day I cooked dinner for me and mi novio, I'm especially proud as Ihave been vegetarian for 25 years and I made sancocho (excuse spelling)Chicken hotpot for those of you who don't know.

I also cooked myself a sweet potato and sweetcorn souffle
which was very nice.

I've encluded a picture as i was so proud of myself. I really ,love cooking, yet I don't have much time to cook a lot only at weekends.

Kids in Colombia

Not been on for a while as I'm been busy studying.

Before Christmas me and boyfriend and some friends sent some money over to Colombia to my boyfriend's mother as she organised a Christmas party for some of the kids, I've enclosed a piccie.

I can cook ok, though I may need some help with some ingredients, especially if they are in spanish!

He'll eat most anything apart from fish, he's originally from Cartagena can anyone suggest a nice dinner and pudding (nothing too fancy) that would be good to cook for him.

I live in the UK, so sourcing some ingredients could be interesting.

any ideas would be wonderful also if possible a vegetarian alternative to go along side as I don't eat meat

The laws in the UK, changed in Feb this year, as you now have to apply to the Home office for a certificate of approval before you can sending off the application forms for marriage to a registrar to organise a wedding

Has anyone gone through this procedure to get married to a colombiano/a in the UK?

Any tips on filling in the form it's a bit of a nightmare, I would really like some help on this.
