Colombo Canadiense comments on Experience with US Embassy in Bogota.

DISNEY MISTAKE you are right, that's the first question the consular officer asks
not only where are you going buy why do you have to go there?

Also, anyone with close relatives has got more changes to get an immigrant visa ( Green Card ) than a Non Immigrant Visa ( Temporary Visit ). No consul can go against the USA law.

Please generalise

Colombo Canadiense comments on Called Colombia for Free Today from USA.

VOIPSTUNT 5 hours, however it is not about the amount of time, it is about the amount of calls, according to their small print terms.

I'm only able to call to the "Non free" destinations. What do you think about it?

SCAM INDEED I tried voipstunt, quality very good, however there is not such a thing as FREE CALLS. After loading my account with 10 euros and using it for 3 days, It says I've reached the maximum number of free calls. I'm now only allowed to make toll calls like cellphones in Colombia. Be aware

Colombo Canadiense comments on Colombian Laws Directly Related to Deaths of Young Colombian Women

Non sense, bizarre My dear Platano.

I think I got your point straight.

So, what you want is these colombian women to die legally, not ilegally?

What makes you think there is such thing as a "safe" abortion? either legal or ilegal?

That is exactly why the law was created to protect our girls' lives.

However articles like this from HRW are very misleading, specially this title putting the negative spin on a country like Colombia.

The problem is the same all around the world.

Colombo Canadiense comments on getting a Canadian tourist visa

OH YEAH? Johnboy77 wrote:

"You cannot come and go as you please totally. With permanent residency, you must live 2 out of 5 years in Canada, or your PR will be taken away. You must live 3 out of 5 to get citizenship.

Also, you must at least get to Canada before you initial VISA expires, which is linked to the date your health checks expire.
That is in the paper"

THAT IS WRITTEN IN PAPERS, PRACTICE TELLS OTHERWISE

Colombo Canadiense comments on getting a Canadian tourist visa

Funny Post This is what I tell all my folks.

Canadian tourist visa for Colombians living in Colombia DOES NOT exist. Forget about it.

I tell them, it is a lot more feasible to get a Permanent resident visa than a tourist visa.

In other words if you qualify for a Temporary resident Permit you probably qualify for a Permanent Resident Visa.

Besides , you don't even have to move to Canada,

and you can come and go whenever you want, excellent for business, visiting family, boyfriends, girlfriends, anybody

it's worth the two year wait to get the permanent resident visa

Good luck

Colombia Radio Thank you for the great post.

As you can see Colombia has the most advanced radio stations in Latin America. I think the most advance in the whole world. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Help us generalise this feature.

Colombo Canadiense comments on colombian slang

PILA Among young people in Colombia's capital region ( Sabana de Bogota ) "pila" refers to a very intelligent girl. Therefore it gives this southwest girl a very good word for her tattoo

wife to Canada with you Tranquilo, hermano. Your wife does require the canadian visa, however, since she's married to you, British Husband, she just have to apply at the canadian consulate in London for her Canadian visa with almost 100 percent chance she will get it. Come trough Windsor , Ontario, it is cheaper and I will get to meet you guys.... Lisandro from Windsor
