What holiday is it today in Colombia ? What is a good Easter gift to give a Colombian woman ?

Hola everyone,

My friend in Colombia was mentioning to me yesterday that today was a holiday in Colombia. What holiday is it today? Is there any other Colombian holidays this week. Excuse my ignorance on this matter.

I did not get to ask her since after she told me about the holiday she wanted to chat with my 8 year old daughter.

I know yesterday was Palm Sunday and this Friday is Good Friday. What would a appropriate gift be that I could send her for this Easter holiday ? I really like her a lot and she has a heart of gold.

She is telling me we have to take it slow and get to know each other. She is real beautiful, sweet and very very nice.
