Carelibro, it is kind of annoying how many actions, meetings, petitions, you name it, everything has to be on facebook, it is not my cup of tea. Hands down to facebook and those who use it for mass manipulation, wait a minute, mass manipulation sounds good, I should give it a second though.
Now La Alcaldesa de Chapinero started a campaign to have pictures taken to cars not parked in the right places. Pictures will be uploaded to, guess where, yeah FaceBook.
Most of the campaing at the end go against the working class, even though in the article the said bodyguards and politicinans are the usually the target.
To have your car or motorcicle taken to patios "in-movilizice" is a headache and to take it back from Transito will cost you at least USD 200.

Funny thing is that creators of such idea of using Facebook believe they are genious. Give me a break.

If someone can afford a private car then I think it is likely that they have a computer/use facebook. My 50 +cousin does.. it seems to be all the rage, the latest "trendy" thing in her group of upper-middle class friends.

I mean you take 15, 20 minutes to browse the internet, read news write here in PBH, it all depends in how you use it.

corporalgator says on Oct 9, 2008, 09:45: I used it quite a bit at my university and that was what it was originally for, college students. Back then, there were very few applications to clutter it up and it was just clean interface to get connected to people. You had to have a university supplied email to join. It helped with finding study groups, things to do on the town etc. It is useful now, but less so since there are so many people and so many applications. It's hard to keep track of anything.

|
ietk says on Oct 9, 2008, 10:01: That is why I like it because you can keep it clean do not add any applications and you will be fine, sometimes I get invitations from friends to add an application and I just ignore or block that application, mine is clean no garbage just the basics and I like it that way is not like myspace where you find ads everywhere.
