For colombians like me...

The absolute ideal place to be is in a coffee farm in the mountains, dancing with cousins, aunts and good friends... feasting on natilla, buñuelos and fritanga prepared by the abuela, not far from a city to stock up occasionally. This is just the way I grew up spending the holidays and can't really imagine it a better way!

For tourists and foreigners, I guess the party towns would be Cartagena for the crowds and Cali for the Feria.

Hey litos, I’m sorry dude but you are one boring young guy. I know one day I’m going to finally grow up and be just like you. God I hope not.
Instead of Cartagena you want to be in a damn farm drinking grandma’s natilla, you got to be kidding. I hate being around old people, I can’t even stand myself because I’m so freaking old (that’s why I drink so much), never mind hang around with grandma and aunts. Kid don’t rush old age. Get drunk, and get laid as much as possible, because now you get it for free, but when you get my age is going to cost you plenty.
Wait a minute, I think you’re pulling our leg and probably laughing your head off right now. Right?

I'll get there, when I get there!

El-Monotematico Elmo, man, we have different ways thinking and expressing ourselves... I kinda don't feel the need to tell everyone about all the borracheras, rumbeadas, pichadas I've had in my life... they're for my pleasure and I sure as hell don't feel any better getting other's attention for it. That's just me! You can keep on entertaining us, please do, everyone loves the class clown.

Let me see... from your posts I gather you enjoy sex, alcohol and partying. Guess what? So do I, I've had my good share of all of that and am still pretty young so I still got a lot of that ahead of me. Difference is, I can also enjoy and appreciate a lot of other things in life... you trivialize them, I wonder who's the one who's missing out on a lot in life's simpler pleasures?

I hope you'll still allow me to join your fan club oh-wisest-one...

litos, what a freaking relief. I’m glad that a smart young guy like you also lets loose like mother goose. I hated the thought of you just sitting around drinking natilla (and what the hell is that anyway) with grandma. Good for you. With your smarts and money I bet you get lots of those pretty Colombian babes. Just between you and me, I prefer white drunken broads, they are less inhibited and they know how to make your toes curl with raw pleasure, they’ll even give you “el beso negro” a Colombiana wont. But I don’t have to tell you that, you must already know.
Chaooo.

I'll get there, when I get there!

Just when you think everything's gonna blow up... you can be very diplomatic, you know that Elmo?

BTW, if you saw what my cousins looked like you'd wanna be dancing with em on Christmas too...

Christmas in Cali, of course. There's everything that you can possibly want, except the beach, but plenty of nice pools and the Pacific coast with Juanchaco and Ladrilleros beaches just a few hours away...2 hrs to Buenaventura and 45 minutes with a lancha to Juanchaco. The feria of Cali is closely followed by the Feria de Manizales, the Feria de Los Blancos y Negros in Pasto (all with a lot of parties and dancing) and then you could catch a week or two in Cartagena or in San Andrés to round up the two-month party spree in Colombia.
Cheers,
Desi

Old gringo, me offend people? absolutely not, I would never do such a thing, I ‘m all class. Besides voted most indigenous looking in el Colegio San Francisco in Barranquilla, I was also voted most cordial, refined, sensitive to others feelings, and the guy that sold the best butifarras in all Barranquilla. My mother used a very secret ingredient.
As for “el beso negro” that thing the Colombian women wont do, if you don’t know what it is, then lets just keep it that way. For those Colombian women that want to prove me wrong please stand up and tell us all if you partake in such practice.

I'll get there, when I get there!

si, La Mona, hay dios mio, she was an angel that fell from the heavens. So she hit herself in the head a little too hard but she was gorgeous. She was of German and Dutch parents with Ana Nicole Smith face and Jennifer Lopez body. She told her mother that she wanted to have my child; the mother almost dropped dead, me too. The last thing I want is a freaking kid. She would worship every square inch of my then muscular body, I returned in kindness by devouring her. I’m getting too excited, I better stop; don’t want to go running to the men's room again. I think people at work are getting suspicious.

I'll get there, when I get there!
