I am going to San Andres either this week or the next. I am looking for fun and great nightlife since I am bringing a friend from the states who likes to party. The only thing is that I think its low season in October and it my be kind of slow and boring. What can I expect? Should I go to Barranquilla or Cali instead?

island girl says on Oct 10, 2008, 17:54: yeah i agree with leeroy here ... your choices are: there is a bar on the beach that plays reggae in San Luis its called like Killah Reggae Bar and then there is Kiss Me and Ecstasis in town. and I believe there is a discoteca up in Cove in the middle of the island too - That is where all the locals live and so during low season it is probably the most active.

Shin1ichi says on Oct 13, 2008, 19:48: I just returned to the states from a week in San Andres. I loved it, but i am a friggin fish in the ocean. Didn't really see much of nightlife, the resorts, Decameron's have nice shows, and small discos, however. There were a couple of clubs close to el centro, but never saw them open the two nights i was over there. Plan on enjoying the beach and ocean, a lot ( i can't wait to go back to la piscinita!)

Very tame and laid back and as another poster said there's not really any night life. "World economic indicators point to a democrat winning 2008. It will surely be Obama. Not that the US president actually runs the US." Feb 5, 2008 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
