One word translation needed and maybe more.

Hello everyone,

I got a letter from a friend and their is one word
she said from the letter I do not understand.

"harias"

I do not fully understand this love letter and I have
put it through 2 online translation programs.

I have to answer some questions she has and I want to
make sure I understand the questions.

Kat1 or anybody willing to help with a 3 paragragh translation
of a love letter.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Jeff

harías "que harías" *what would you do* was the first thing that came into my mind. I need the whole sentence though to make a translation of any accuracy at all.
Cheers,
Desi

The sentence with harias in it. Here is the sentence.

las preguntas de hoy son: - si encontraras a la mujer de tu vida, que harias para conquistarla y que ella acepte tu amor?

Love is like a butterfly , if you chase it you will not catch it but you can hope the butterfly of love lands on your shoulder.

(a free-hand translation...hope it works for you)

Just to give you some background information I got this letter after I sent her Roses and a teddy bear with a nice romantic note.

Thanks Desi,

So "harias" means win. Now I understand it more.

The problem, widowerfromcanada, is that you were missing an accent on the letter "i" in the word "harias". Although this messes up the online translators, a person (like Desi) who can speak Spanish knows that the accent should be there and can translate it accordingly.

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult.

maybe....
if you find the woman of your life, what would you do to get her love so that she will accept your love.

You know this is a difficult sentence to translate but at the same time so easy to understand, translation programs can not do it for some reason, I think utopiacowboy is right the i in harias make it really hard for the program. Is not fun when that happens eh?
