Por altos precios del petróleo, American Airlines suspende vuelos Miami - Barranquilla
http://www.elespectador.com/articulo-altos-precios-del-petroleo-americ...

gimmedub says on Aug 22, 2008, 12:55: actually Barranquilla y la costa will be the losers... how many gringos want to fly avianca when they can use american (some with points) to get into and out of la costa... I for one am pissed... having the baq flight saved me a good 8 hours of not having to connect in frigid bogota!

Saltador says on Aug 22, 2008, 16:29: Yea, I'm pissed too. Just made enough miles a few months ago for a freebie, and then they cancel the route.

panthdave says on Aug 22, 2008, 17:36: I have noticed that with OnePass hardly any options unless you want use peak miles at 60,000. I use that off peak economy for 35,000 and very difficult to find openings... panthdave Miami 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

panthdave says on Aug 23, 2008, 03:35: Copa is the problem using off peak economy miles...out of MIA>..Many times Continental wants me to fly MIA-Houston-Panama City-Medellin for the off peak option..because they cannot find any economy mile seats with Copa out of MIA....direct to Panama City. Now I did receive an email from One Pass that non elite members will not be able to reserve economy off peak mile seats on High Value Flights anymore..which is crap..Its the start of airlines now limiting more mile seats...I saved the email from One Pass....Now the airlines are messing with there mile programs...I saved that email from One Pass which now I will be moving mostg of my flights over to Avianca...which Avianca Plus is not bad.. panthdave Miami 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

capt_j says on Aug 23, 2008, 04:49: How hard is it to use AAdvantage miles? I have been thinking about switching to Continental but if you can't use the miles that makes it a lot less attractive.

sanandressi says on Aug 23, 2008, 10:30: If Avianca is the lone carrier to fly MIA BAQ direct then that price will go up indeed. Spirit may jump in as AA leaves. Clinman says on Aug 23, 2008, 13:58: I had my novia flying out of Barranquilla to Boston and the cost was $20 which I accomplished online. After they notifyed me their pulling out of BAQ I went thru Delta (One Pass) over the phone. I think it cost me about $90 for the transaction using 35 K points. I preferred AA because I am Platinum and general they are decent

panthdave says on Aug 26, 2008, 06:26: AA much easier...at 30K offpeak and online reward reservations excellent..but AA prices have gone out of reach lately...except Bogota flights...from MIA....Cali and Medellin expensive..right now....Luckly flying all the time so have many options with One Pass to get me on a Copa Flight for Medellin...and the onepass agents really need to search hard and usually spend 20 minutes on the phone until they find something with the 35K Seats.. panthdave Miami 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
