Evening people,
I just had a quick question. I tried ringing my girlfriend about 6 or 7 times yesterday, every time her phone was turned off, which in itself was unusual for her. Turns out she said she was "on strike against the phone companies" because they are going to start charging for missed calls? Does anyone know if a lot of people did that? From her tone it sounded like it was a big thing. It sounded strange, we've been paying for missed calls in the UK for ages, but I guess it's what you're used to I suppose.

We call to family in colombia all the time and calls in=free. or they buy more minutes, (doesn't cost that much). OR WE USE THE LAND LINE.... hey... I am just saying, 6-7 calls, no answer a lame excuse= Hmmmm? seems a bit odd.....

karito says on May 26, 2008, 17:23: yes, like jonas said, there was and email saying that the cellphone companies will charge for missed call, thing that is very popular in Colombia, and if we could join to the march for the peace, why we couldn't join to this march. well I didn't do because I forgot it but this is the mail that I received: Practicing English... sorry for the mistakes..........Amar es arriesgarse a que no le quieran. Mononoke28 says on May 27, 2008, 11:32: I also got that e-mail. Assuming it is true, even if people turn off their cell phones these companies will not change their policies just because a bunch of customers turned their cell phones off. They're just like banks, they work with each other against the customer, not the other way around. Diana 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
