Jorge Celedon and Jimmy Zambrano at the White House.

What a joy it was for me to see my friends Jorge Celedon And Jimmy Zambrano along with their group play at the White House for President Bush on 07-22-2008. You could see how much joy and pride these men had to be there at the White House. Congradulations to these good men.

porgies are very popular among blacks and puerto ricans.
when ever we wanna find porgies out in city island, my buddy and i follow the puerto ricans on skiff outta jack's bait shop.
Them modefoques pile up 8 in a fokin skiff built for 3 and head straight to where the porgies are.

I'll get there, when I get there!

we have such a good time out fishing with our marine radio.
the gumbas are goofing at blacks by requesting a porgy report with a heavy black accent
"where them pogy be AT?"
Then i pick up the radio and start lookin for my gumba buddy
"hey joey MARICONni, what's your 20?"

I'll get there, when I get there!

The link below contains the speech by El Presidente. His energy joke (oil, cocaine, coffee) must have gone over like a lead balloon.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2008/07/20080722-1.html

---------------------------

THE PRESIDENT: Thank you. Siéntese. Gracias. Buenos dias. Bienvenidos a la Casa Blanca. (Applause.) I am pleased to welcome you to the gathering of the 198th anniversary of Colombia's independence, which was celebrated last Sunday in grand style. Colombia and the United States have a long history of close ties. As many of you may know, Colombia supports [sic] America's primary source of energy -- a resource that many Americans use, and we thank you for your coffee. (Laughter.)

I love Jorge Celedón and Jimmy Zambrano. My husband called me yesterday while they were showing it on CNN but I was at work and said it was really nice. Great picture too, too bad Bush is in. =\

Thanks for for the videos.

I don't see what cocaine had to do with the joke at all. I didn't see it as an inferred punchline, it seems more like that's what's on your mind instead.
