they do not get charged.. you just pay a little bit extra for calling a mobile number, for example, from london i call to bogota and i get 90 minutes for £5 but if i call a mobile number it will only give me like
60 minutes

My novia has a Comcel phone in Cali. I call her everyday on that phone and she never gets charged. Like cypher said though, I have to pay more. Normally at least a few cents higher per minute. It is all good for her though. We can talk until her battery dies and as far as she is concerned, it is free.

Miguel, strangely enough, her battery has never died.

$10 US might not be much but it adds up since we talk everyday. I try to limit it to an hour, which is around $6 for the card I use. I am not going to continue with that route much longer. She will have internet in her house soon and we will use VOIP and talk for free all day.
