I-130 sent 2002, approved August 2005, now what?

What? You filed I130s for them in 2002 and they have been approved and now they are sending them to Bogota? If this happens you will have somehow bypassed the 10 year wait for siblings. I am curious to see what happens next. Please keep us posted.

Application was only approved. Which to me, doesn't mean much progress. Again any information would be appreciated.

I130 Category 4 approval Hi Mamey. I also applied for my sister back in 2002. In August I submitted some requested paperwork establishing familial relationship. On sept 2nd I received an approval notice where it also informed me that the case was now referred to the department of state for visa availability and that we should hear from them in less than 90 days. The visa bulletin is currently showing feb/1994. Does this mean we must wait another 7 or 8 years?
