How much time should be spent in Cartagena?

My guests want to know how much time they should spend in Cartagena. What do you think? Where should they stay? What places should they visit? Please help. Thank you.

There are lots of things to do in Cartagena and around. It depends on choices and tastes, really. If your guests like scuba diving, there are multi-day excursions that tehy can do, and if they like thoroughly discovering the city, 2 weeks may not be enough.

But if the guests are bored easily and see things quickly, 2 day may be too much.

Thanks guys! My guests aren't leaving until tomorrow night, so please keep your ideas coming in. Casa Viena and Hotel Holiday are popular among backpackers; is there anything better than these places but within the same low budget?

Well, if it is low-ass budgets that you want, go to Hotel London. That is 7.000 pesos per night per room. They may have raised rates to 9000 or 10,000. But beware, it is a shithole.

There was one place, and I think I still have their card lying around somewhere, where you paid 40.000 pesos for a two beds in the room, 50,000 pr night on weekends. This place was very nice, but I am struggling to remember the name of it.

There are quite a few low-cost places to stay in Cartagena if you don't mind looking.
