Rikito says on Sep 27, 2008, 10:25: I have a 69 year old brother who live in Cincy, Ohio. He has only travelled to a handfull of U.S. states and Canada. It is so hard to have a meaningful discussion with him. He is a nice guy, but narrow minded and ultra-conservative. Even his children who have travelled extensively feel sorry for him becasue he cannot talk to his children about what goes on in the world other than what her reads in a magazine. It reminds me of a cartoon I saw once. The wife is in the kitchen cooking and slaving over dinner and the fat ass husband is watching TV nursing a can of beer. The caption reads, "I learned to cook the same way you learned to have screw....out of a book." How true it is! It is not life that matters, but the journey. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
