I'm looking for the best possible price and I've got the luxury of having an abundance of time available to work for it. I know friends who have done this thing called "flying" and gotten amazing deals on fares, but it was for domestic (US) flights.
Is it possible to fly standby for west-coast to MDE/BOG?
I am accustomed to paying $850-1000 for a round-trip to MDE from San Francisco, and I would really like to have that number closer to $500. Ideal scenario would be Sacramento/SF to MDE for +/- $500. Maybe that's impossible but I'm willing to try.
Any help is much appreciated. I'll be checking back with this thread.
