Anyone going to be at the Feria de Cali this December?

Hey...so..this will be my first trip to Colombia, and I am going alone and wanted to know if anyone here by chance will be there, I'd like to have some company, meet someone before I go. This trip means a lot to me because the tie that I have had with Colombia and especially Cali, its a long story....either way the thought of being alone sometimes intimidates me but either way I know Im going to have fun, I just would like to know if by chance anyone who is sane and wont try to pick my pocket (please dont be offended) would like to hang out. Let me know....also...I LOVE those bocadillos de guayaba....anyone know where I could pick up some boxes of that guava goodness?

I most likely won't be there, but do you have a place to stay because I can recommend a hostal that my friend and her family owns. She would probably accompany you most places and her brother if he's still around at that point (he's getting married soon, so I don't know)

for Artesanias you can go to a shop called "La Caleñita" which is located in the "Galeria Alameda" Cra.24 No.8-53

and there is another place called "Loma de la Cruz" All the taxi drivers know where it is

The feria is one of the great draws of Cali. It would be a really good idea for you to book a room well in advance.

I would not miss the feria for anything, although I will be the first to admit that my salsa steps are but a goofy parody of the real dance.
