carldecolorado says on Dec 19, 2004, 19:09: Congrats I am very happy for you! I am very happy for you! I just recently started dating a Colombian girl myself, she lives in Circasia (just outside of Armenia, small world). After reading all the postings here about the nightmares of Visas I am so glad to read some nice nerws like yours. I am in the process of trying to get my girlfriend a tourist visa, so that she can visit me and get to meet my parents. I have an interview setup for her in March and now I am just trying to get all the documentation in order.

We filed about 18 months ago and we have a case number that they say averages 8 weeks for review. After that we will have to get three police report and as you know get threw a bunch of B.S. I will be moving back to the U.S. in Sep so I am starting to worry... Any comforting comments?

isaactraveler says on Dec 21, 2004, 16:19: HI Sacramento Saint. Sorry I missed your question. In fact, your situation is pretty different from mine. I went through the beaurocratic process of getting a fiancee visa. That is a bit different from what I think you are doing. I think you are getting a K1 visa right?
