"Harry Christopher, 29, was walking near his hotel in Moron, a city near Buenos Aires, on Friday when he was attacked by the man with a 9mm-calibre pistol. Police believe the murder may have been the result of a robbery gone wrong, but are also investigating links to drugs crime. "

manINred says on Nov 1, 2008, 07:01: That's very disturbing, just goes to show that it can happen anywhere, even in Argentina, which in terms of Latin American standards, is relatively safe. Then again, there is lots of petty armed crime in Buenos Aires (and around apparently) especially since the economy took a tumble in 2001. Many people were badly affected. Desperation is a sad thing, in what shoudl be a very prosperous beautiful nation. 0 funny, 0 helpful.
